Shafts are made from case hardened and precision ground 1566 steel for exacting diameter and straightness tolerances. Straightness tolerance is 0.002" per, and diameter tolerance is -0.0005" to -0.001" from nominal size.
Most shafts are special order and will take up to 1 week extra for delivery.
