I love it! I have a hutch that was once a bedroom wardrobe, then a TV cabinet. I haven't yet built a door to completely enclose the machine, still setting it up and putting in lighting and such. I like the TARDIS look to it. I wonder, are people going to share files here as well? I am very new to CN...
Thanks for posting this!
Excellent! When would you be doing this and should I hold off on assembly until I get these or are they simple to replace after final assembly?
Thanks!
Please excuse my ignorance...
Does this replace a part on the machine or is it an additional part?
Either way, sounds like a great idea (the group buy!)
Ruh roh!
Sounds like something that could use some tweaking. I wonder what an aluminum replacement parts would costs?
Okay, looking for the anti-backlash nuts...
If I break my mount, I would also be interested in being a guinea pig for the more flexible resin version.
Great onto, thanks!
Where did you get the anti-backlash nuts?
I hadn't even looked at McMaster Carr but I would bet they would have them,if anyone would!
Fantastic! The parts look great too. I will have to look for some shellac at my local hardware store tomorrow. Anything in particular I should look out for? I don't think I have ever coated MDF with anything but paint. I also love the extension project. I would really like this to be a larger cuttin...
I'd also love to see a Mac version, even running parallels or bootcamp to boot into Windows, but then it would also require a USB interface... Any chance of those happening? Just unboxing and looking at the tutorials now, woohoo! I'm off to find where I can get the anti-backlash nuts for X & Y axes....
